ՆԱՐԵԿ ԱՐՔ. ԱԼԵԷՄԷԶԵԱՆ ծնած է 1962-ին, Պէյրութ: Աւարտած է Մեծի տանն Կիլիկիոյ կաթողիկոսութեան դպրեվանքը եւ 1981-ին կուսակրօն քահանայ ձեռ-նադրուելէ ետք՝ դպրեվանքի եւ կաթողիկոսարանի մէջ վարած է վանական պաշ-տօններ։ 1986–1991 աստուածաբանական բարձրագոյն ուսումը շարունակած է Պէյրութի Հայկազեան համալսարանին մէջ եւ ապա Վանգուվըրի (Գանատա) մէջ եւ որպէս հովիւ ծառայած տեղւոյն նորակազմ համայնքին: 1991–1997 իր հովուական ծառայութիւնը շարունակած է Նիւ Ճըրզիի (ԱՄՆ) մէջ: 1997–2014 վարած է Մեծի տանն Կիլիկիոյ կաթողիկոսութեան Միջեկեղեցական եւ միջկրօնական յարաբերութիւններու վարիչ-քարտուղարի պաշտօնը: Եպիսկոպոս օծուած է 2002-ին: 2011-ին Հովուական աստուածաբանութեան տոքթորայի վկայական ստացած է Պրիթիշ Գոլոմպիայի (Գանատա) համալսարանէն։ 2011–2013 եղած է Մեծի տանն Կիլիկիոյ կաթողի-կոսութեան դպրեվանքին տեսուչը։ 2014–2015 եղած է Կիպրոսի հայոց կաթողի-կոսական փոխանորդ։ 2018–2019 եղած է Լիբանանի հայոց առաջնորդ։ Ներկայիս Կաթողիկոսութեան Միջեկեղեցական եւ միջկրօնական յարաբերութիւններու տնօրէնն է։ Հեղինակ է Հայ եկեղեցւոյ ծէսին ու վարդապետութեան նուիրուած հատորներու եւ յօդուածներու:
ARCHBISHOP NAREG ALEMEZIAN was born in 1962, in Beirut-Lebanon. After graduating the Theological Seminary of the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia, in Antelias-Lebanon, in 1981, he was ordained a celibate priest and carried on various responsibilities at the Seminary and the Catholicosate. 1986–1991 he continued his theological post-graduate studies in Haigazian University, Beirut-Lebanon, and then in Vancouver-Canada, and served the parish of St. Gregory the Illuminator Church. 1991–1997 he was the parish priest of the Sts. Vartanantz Church, in New Jersey-USA. 1997–2014 he was the Ecumenical Officer of the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia. He was consecrated a bishop in 2002. In 2011 he has received his Doctor of Ministry degree from the University of British Columbia-Canada. 2011–2013 he was the Dean of the Theological Seminary of the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia in Bikfaya-Lebanon. 2014–2015 he was the Catholicossal Vicar of Cyprus. 2018–2019 he was the Prelate of Lebanon. Currently he is the Ecumenical Director at the Catholicosate. He has contributed to many periodicals and is the author of books on the Armenian Church.
